I have experience being involved in sporting clubs where the success has been phenomenal. When this happens clubs are normally financially very very well off, and predators start circling. These people are wordsmiths, generally cunning as the perverbeal sewer rat. Eventually they get in, they create politics, they create division, they scheme up ways to spend hard earnt money without really having the club's best interest at heart.
IMO this cancer is deeply embedded at RFC and the only way to rid of it is too confront vigourously (without taking a breath), those who have caused the cancer. Millar is one such person. He still has shares in North, sits on our board, and when he is interviewed really comes across as massively insincere. March needs to be very strong and oust Millar immediately, and get some smart richmond fanatics around him to smoke out the other "predators".

it all started in '83 when Cloke, Raines,Wood etc walked out on the club & has not been properly rectified since.
2 finals appearance with honest, battling sides is unacceptable.
we've become the new st.kilda with our continued acceptance of mediocrity.
We wont be successful again every bit of the mouldy old carpet called the RFC is torn up & relaid with a plush new shag.
Viva la revolution!
A lot of pple here will tell u everythings gonna be ok, they're the reason this club may never have another golden age.

A reasonable hypothesis about Miller however I dont totally subscribe. Miller is definately a salesman but from a casual observance and my (minimal) interactions with him I believe him to be very genuine about bringing success to the club.

I just believe he very ordinary at his job. He is an average talent evaluater, a shocking negotiater and an absolutely diabolical list manager.

Of course in any event the rot started at the club well before Miller and 83 would be the obvious watershed moment.
