Where have the Bowden baggers gone?

Sorry but I still think its the end.

Only a fool will accept one game as a turn around. When he starts stringing games together will I accept that I may have been mistaken but I still believe he is a dud. When people put it all in perspective how many good games has he played this season and even last year...even Krak played the odd good game.

I will stick by my beliefs that he is finished. I only saw glimpses as I was working but what I would like to know how many of his 39 touches and 23 marks were of the soft kind we have come to see of Bowden "weak after weak"?

Only Polak took as many contested marks in the match & only 5 players won more contested ball for us DHN.

Have been a Bowden bagger, but this doesn't mean I hate seeing him play well. Had a great game and saved our bacon right at the end. He actually gave the footy after the game to the girl sitting next to me, so I told him as much.

Will always give credit where its due, but one game does not change my feeling that he has limited time left, and I reckon he was lucky to have got a game this week. However, I hope like all others he can continue this type of form for the rest of the year, as it will only benefit the team and thats the most important thing.

Sounds like he celebrated his birthday at a mens club

Bowden had a great game yesterday, but it wasn't something that couldn't have been done by other players. Bowden is not part of Richmond's future, but his contributions in the past have been valuable. I'll be disappointed if he's still on the list next year.

Please feel free to enlighten me on all the other listed Tigers who have had 39 possesions and 23 marks in one game? Who are these others who could have done the same job just as well?

And if he isn't part of our future then why don't we move on Richo, who is 3 years older??

if he had of played against Bulldogs and St Kilda we would have won both games.
If he had played like he did on Saturday against the Bulldogs and St.Kilda we might have won.

If he had played like he did before he was dropped against the Bulldogs and St.Kilda he might not have made any difference at all- perhaps we might not have got the 2 points against the Dogs.

All theoretical and can't be proven, so no right or wrong answer to this one.
