WHERE IS OUR FORWARD LINE????????????

I've been against the idea.... but i think it needs to be tried.... patto...CHF...

Just tell the kid to back his kicking.... cant have ur inside 50's being handballs!

Our forward line is hanging around Coburg City Oval in the 2nds and 1sts.

The club would have been banking on Hughes and Jack being the mainstays of the forward line but Cleve has treading water and Jack undermanned with little support in the air. Sarge would have also been pegged for a 3rd tall forward spot but is also showing nothing.

This leaves Brian Royal with not much to work with.

The fwd line has the same problems it has had since Wallace took over thus I blame him more than Royal.

The last time we had a functional forward line was when Matthew Rogers took over at FF when Richo was out for 8 weeks.Richo should be rested and *smile* left at FF,Hughes CHF,JR on one flank,Nahass in one pocket,Morton in the other.and Bowden on HFF.This forward structure will work IMO.

Wont help the future a great deal , however if they think the kids are not ready, plonk Simmo in the square till Richo is back other alternative is Tuck at FF with Cotch an Cuz coming back

I wouldn't say Campbell has done wonders with out midfield either

I've said the same myself in other threads. Worst coaching moves of the off season.

That's BS.

Richo shouldn;t have been *smile* playing. A fit schulz or simmonds is better than a 1 legged richo. We were pathetic.

I'd count about 6 or 7 times where our midfielders have looked up to see who to kick it to up forward, and either turned it over, or kicked a nothing kick. We have absolutely no system,

We must stop saying "THEY DID OK".

OK ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH. It's time to stop accepting mediocrity and demand excellence FFS
here here.

ive said it before and will sayit again forward line structure for most clubs consists of three genuine talls. we regularly under wallace play one. two if you count richo in his wanderings.

riewiodt post and one of schulz or hughes is it atm.its all we have and we must we just have to get games into the mailman.we must find out once and for all what hughes has to offer and schulz can be given to the end of the yr to save his sorry arse.

give both jack and post the freedom across hf and plonk one of hughes or schulz in the square. play morton only if he can maintain defensive efforts play nahas and white for pace crumbing ability and defensive pressure on running backs. connors is also an option and so is cotchin sheesh get a rotation going with the smaller types. with the younger guys we know they will have bad days it does not matter its all about getting games and senior experience into them.

My memory may be hazy but i think i read that royal moved to the forward line
because he was bored and wanted a change or something along those lines..

Only at Richmond would changes be made not for the betterment of the club
but to appease one of the senior coaches mates...

here here.

Wow, my journey to the dark side must well and truly be complete. Even clawsy is giving me applause.

Ah well, needs to be said. We're too prepared to accept half assed efforts. Half assed rebuilds, half assed strategies.

There's no glass is half full with this club. We're empty.
