Reports in today's paper talk about 4 clubs surveyed for the AFL. One was rated as "The Playboy Club,"....another as "The Football-Oriented Club,".....the third as "The Violent Club," and the last as "The Anti-Playboy Club."

The Clubs in question were not mentioned. Wonder if we were one of them. I can hazard a guess at the "Playboy Club." Can you??

Does anyone have some inside info as to which four clubs were surveyed?? Hope we weren't the "Violent Club." We certainly aren't when on the field!!!

On the field we are submissive kittens...

Were they all melbourne clubs or all of the afl
Just a guess but offield my guess' would be

The Playboy Club - West Coast

The Football-Oriented Club - Melbourne

The Violent Club - Carlton

The Anti-Playboy Club - Sydney

I'd say the "Playboy Club" most likely is West Coast.
The "Violent Club"................Most likely Adelaide & "The Football-Oriented Club" might be Bulldogs or North.

The are just guesses BTW.

playboy club - west coast
football -oriented club - port adelaide
violent - brisbane
anti playboy club - kangaroos

we`d have to be the sleeping giant wouldn`t we?

Has anyone read the paper today? The story about the wayward Geelong player being welcomed back to the fold? Yep...same old deal. I will tell you which club we are

- the club you play in a milestone game
- the club you play to promote rookies and new recruits
- the club you play when you are facing a crisis of any type

That's what our proud club has become. The easybeat, walkover, pencilled-in-win chopping block.
It's an utter disgrace.

and people want to finish last for draft picks ..... I say this is wrong wrong wrong and we should play to win every single game and let ladder position fall where it may.

ONe of the most pointless and useless studies I can remember.

Obviously you haven’t spent much time around the arts social research faculties of any Australian University because sadly much worse research is produced.

And who, I wonder, wants to be the first club to be beaten by us???? They will be the laughing stock of the competition. Says he, with tongue in cheek!!

I think the tigers survey will be out next week.

I think we were rated "The First Wives Club"

Harden UP!

I'm working on a research paper (not one i designed) correlating positive body attitude with self esteem. Well duh....hello no brainer ::)

That’s great!, perhaps I could borrow the methodology for my doctorate I’m working on interrogating Ricoh’s goal kicking through a Foucaultian gender power relations lens

The study was done in 2005 ( ?) after a certain Melbourne club was alleged to be more sinners than saints. ;)

but think of the huge data set, I'm sure to get an ARC grant. My follow up work will be on the link between global warming and the order of the 2004 draft.
