Yeh David Cloke was an interesting youngster.

I know we just recently had a thread on him.

Some of you may not know this. Up until Clokey was about 16yo, he was generally a medium sized player amongst his peers. This generally led to him playing midfield roles which was great for his mobility and groundplay.

When he turned 16yo, Clokey in one year went from 5'6" to 6'6". Amazing, isn't it.
The benefit of this was that he was tall, but he knew how to play footy from a mobile perspective.

I reckon that was why he seemed to do better with his shots at goal on the run, than standing shots.

Anyway, that's another Jiffey Donut fact.
Now it's off to pick up my son, and off to cricket training.

Phanthom very good summation of our past players as young guns learning the trade, Tiger Force might be a bit too quick off the mark calling Pattison the new Constable Plod, I recall Pattison's draft testing was top notch.
As for our old number 5, that dude is a real gentleman, see him now and then around Malvern East particuarly the Dairy Bell outlet!

Yeh, that's because his sons play at Malvern East Cricket Club just across the road.
