I wouldn't have had much hesitation naming the player I'd love to have had at Tigerland and now I've just watched a DVD about him. "Arch, Shinboner of the Century", I'm 100% positive Glenn Archer would be my pick.
He epitomised the words "team spirit", was as inspirational as they come, showed great on-ground leadership, was talented at both ends of the ground and willing to do the hard things for his team. Admittedly I'm an unashamed admire of backmen and those who put their body on the line but Arch was equally as capable up forward when he had the opportunity, and had a pretty uncanny sense of how to kick a goal.
I'd be interested to know which one player others would choose, and why.
