Which players are the winners/ Losers of TW going.

One player certain to be a loser will be JON......simply not up to AFL level, and Wallace and co. were too weak to admit that they stuffed up with this selection, and hence kept on hoping that one day, he may come good!!!

Others that have been on the list for a while and have stagnated or gone backwards Eg. Shulz, Collins, Hughes, Edwards will want to start impressing pretty damn fast, cos I can sense a mini clean out about to take place.

Of the over 30 brigade, I think Johnson, Simmonds, and Bowden are near on certs, Rich, Cousins and Browny can still offer something dpending on who is at the helm.

You are joking right?

If was a skinny ,quick flanker type i would now be officially very worried about my playing future

We need to hang on to as many of these types of players as we can. If Terry gets the West Sydney job, he will trade for them and we will practically own the draft.

actually, i think young players who cop a lot of flack (JON, connors, edwards, etc) are potentially the big winners coz they have a chance to be developed properly. i know for a fact that a lot of the young guys are hopeful of having a coach who doesnt play favourites and instills a solid gameplan. look for their confidence to increase.

I agree Doolz with this assessment, the young players will be big winners with a new coach.

Our young key forwards will be also a major beneficiary. For a start they'll have the opportunity to play, secondly they will get proper instructions and third be persisted with when their form wavers. I expect Riewoldt to have a break out year in 2010. I think Post, Vickery and Rance to improve as well. Hopefully we get improvement out of Hughes as I think the raw materials are there. Schulz is a goner for mine.

I hope the only 30's players to stay are Richo & the Cuz.

Same here....I think they can have one more year under a new coach and still give us something.

Look, people talk about the kids and that...but you still need to have SOME sort of experience.

Knights and Clarkson, for example, still kept some over-30s on the list even though they were new and rebuilding a club to their way of thinking.

Those calling for CUZ to go (just because Bucks/new coach says so!!!!) need their heads read!!!

Are we watching the same games???

He only played two of the last three and is still EASILY in the top 10!!

Not just because of his disposal - not just because of his skill - but most imporatantly because of the 'non panic' way he holds/runs with the ball - and nearly always picks the right option!

Deledio, Cotchin, Foley and kin have been screaming for this sort of example!

Why would you call for him to move on 'because he's over 30'

FFS - Kevin Bartlett must be pissing himself!

The grandstand could do with a lick of paint.

Must confess to not being a regular reader - but that's the funniest thing I've read on this forum in 12 months

Can I suggest to the membership department that we start a "donate a paint can to McMahon" campaign

Not one single player TW has been able to turn into a better player...............I was not a huge fan of Meyer, however the kid had talent and TW got SFA out of him as well as many others, his tried Jacko in every single spot on the ground yet hardly given other kids an oppurtunity, so so glad to see the back of TW and his pathetic ability to get anything out of a kids talent..........

TW Career coach I think not, Career destroyer I think so

Jesus CC, did you finally pull those splinters out of ya bum? Bout time you told us what you thought, and none of that rediculous "Oh matty white has been kicking 50m chest passes every single time at training this preseason" crap that you used to write.

you are either up to standard or yopu are not. a silly title all i hope for is the new lot can QUICKLY weed out the below standard players, there's plenty there.
