I seriously think the latter would go better. I've basically offloaded all the 25+ hacks we have and loaded it with our young guns. If we put this team in now, wouldnt it be more benificial in the long-term? Since this season is basically gone, it would'nt hurt would it. Make Deledio captain. And I'm sure every single supporter would be excited every week, no matter who they're playing, because they'll be sure these guys would give 100%. They are all of similar ages, and they can grow and bond together. Just a food for thought ;)

The youngest side Richmond has fielded in the past 15 years had an average age of 22.47 years and lost by 94 points. The second-youngest side (22.49) lost by 139 points.

If your B side turned out against West Coast next week (not possible without Cogs), its average age would be 21.53. It might make some people happy between Thursday night and early Saturday afternoon but would most likely result in the following:
- a 20+ goal loss
- psychological scarring to some of the youngsters
- the club being torn apart

If I thought the B side could achieve the same sort of result we've had over the last month I wouldn't hesitate to agree with you. I know you want success like everyone else t7 but things can't be fixed overnight.

L2R2 you are to be commended for rational thought and supporting arguement. Madness at the selection table is no way to make up for the madness we had at the drafting table 5 years ago.

Great supporting post to one of the best posts I've ever read by L2R2. People conveniently forget that Wally has to actually try and win a game each week, not sacrifice games to prove any points.

Surely underdone and injured players should not get a jumper?!
