Who at Richmond can play in a Premiership!

We are to scared of the present to look to the future. Not one of these players will play in a premiership in yellow and black unless there is a great change at the top. Hafey showed what could be done, Sheedy showed what could be done, Blight showed what could be done....even Thompson showed what could be done.

We have the players but we dont have the direction and dwell in the past.

I guess one way of looking at the question is to figure who at Richmond would hold his position at Geelong and then who might play a lesser position at Geelong.

Simmonds would play #1 ruck, changing. At worst 50/50. But they're not strong in the ruck.

Neither of last year's key forwards would remember what a football looked like after half an hour near Richardson. But maybe that's not good thing. ;D Still even their fiercest admirers wouldn't say that Geelong is well off for tall forwards.

Nathan G Brown would find a spot on any forward line. When right. But he still aint that.

Foley is better than Stokes or the other midget.

Joel Bowden is classes better than Fatty Whatsisname. Josh Hunt. (They play him as a tall very other week.)

Deledio is a better HBF than Mackie. (Who isn't?) And gets a whole lot more attention at Richmond than he would at Geelong.

The other slots are debatable I s'pose. I guess they all are.

Sugar is probably next. I'm a James Kelly fan but he's got nothing on Sugar when they're right. Even so Sugar was pretty ordinary last year.

So I guess we've got six or seven bankable Premiership class players ATM.
