Who is a match winner for us?

Re: Who is a match winner for us?

So, you can win matches?

Well outsiders rate Joel bowden as our best player, so he therefore should be considered a matchwinner.

Tiva can b a matchwinner on his day, just his day doesn't come up very often.
PPL who don't think richo is a match winner, how many games do u think we would have won wif out him in the side over the last couple of years? Usually wif out him kicking a bag we wouldn't b wif in daylight of ne side.

Mike Sheahan said Richmond was a blue collar team...which is true except that we dont lay a tackle.  Unfortunately we only have two match winners Brown and Richo.  No one else comes within cooee - and thats the problem.

Guess that is what I was getting at. Until we find a genuine match winner, who can turn a game around and be a real star, we are going to struggle. Deledio may fit that scenario before too long, but the really strong sides have more than one, as per my listing.

Should have added, a champion team will usually beat a team of champions. Let's hope then for a champion team!!

A fully fit Brown is our big gun..... no question

Deledio has the class and the essential marking and goalkicking skills to win games for us.

Tuck has the potential to burst through heavy traffic and bomb long goals. He needs a little more poise, practice and others sharing the midfield workload(which a fitter Coughlan and Rodan back will no doubt assist with)

Tambling, once settled and fit. Electrifying pace, bounce and banging it through.

Krakouer...... has no peer when it comes to speed between the ears. Can create opportunities for others with deft hand or foot passes, or manufacture goals off his own boot.

If one or more of the above are "on song" and the pressure is off Richo then the big fella is still more than capable of a bagfull.

and for the future......... too early yet...... but....... one day....... hopefully........ SARGE

Brown at the moment, he won a couple off his own boot last year. Deledio in the future, even now every time he gets the ball you just know he's going to make something happen.
