Not trying to change it at all. It's the same premise, but people are getting a bit too hung up on the names here. Simple really, 89% say they don't want to trade Cuz for a 2nd rounder yet in this poll it's showing the opposite when we look at who our second rounder was last year.

I'm not much of a future draft watcher so I'll take your word for it, but that line does seem to get used every year.

if anything the opposite is true. pick 26 would be more valuable in a weak draft as you'll still be able to get a good kid at 26, and not much in the 3rd and 4th rounds. in a deep draft you'd still be able to get good kids in the 3rd and 4th rounds so therfore you'd be more able to afford to trade a second rounder.

This year's pick 26 is also a lot more valuable before next season's GC17 selections.
