Just thinking that if we were asked to vote for our most courageous players I would have voted for Kella and Chaff. They both backed into packs and put their body on the line with no respect for their own personal safety. They both let the opposition know they were around.
Not so sure who I'd vote for now if asked who our bravest player was. Some of the kids are showing good signs, Whitey is one who doesn't take a backwards step, but do we have any strong bodied players, especially backmen, who are capable of backing into packs on a regular basis and winning the contest?
AK going will leave a hole in an area I think we're already deficient in. Do we have the players ready to take over that kind of role? I wonder if the powers to be have an experienced, mean, nasty, extroverted, mature bodied, tough defender in their sites or if they have faith the younger players will step up...maybe we're banking on them being too fast to catch. ;D
