We are by far. On and off the ground.
We are not market leaders in any area on or off the ground.
The club is being held together by a thread. The adminstration did OK last week, it could have really gone turtle. But of all AFL clubs we are the only ones without a clear direction.
The playing group came off looking like a bunch of sooks. The only players who came away looking better are Matthew Richardson and Joel Bowden.

As a WA boy Fremantle is a fantasic town with great culture, atmosphere and architecture but undoubtably the worst team colours, song and guernsey. As for a club culture they don't really have one except for feeling 2nd rate to West Coast. As a Freo mate of mine says every time they play the Eagles "It's our grand final" and that's their biggest problem. Off the field is another story - plent of $$$$ and sponsors.
As for us - great colours, great guernsey, best song by far, fantasic history, premiership but for all of that we have been such a frustrating club since 1982. Off field we're getting better, but we need the $$$$ spent on recruiting, player development, facilities and the best coaches so players want to play for the Tigers once more.
One day at some point in the future (hopefully) not too far off we will be a powerhouse again and Freo will still be Freo with their bad colours, song and guernsey! I need to stay positive here
