Who let Ben Haynes go????????

Accepting that most of what is reported during Trade Week is a load of crap, I will, never the less, demand from GM a personal explanation as to why we re-recruited Ben Haynes -  if in fact it does come true.

My God. He was a dud at Richmond...we got rid of him. He's been a dud at Essendon and that's why they are getting rid of him. He is not up to regular AFL standard. How obvious is it !

Considering we already have a heap of chumps that we never seem to ever want to get rid of, the possibility of him returning to Richmond has my blood boiling.............
And so say all of us 8) 8) :help :help 8) 8)

Remember these words.

If we get Haynes and utilise a draft pick, the RFC will be heading backwards.

Yeah, great pinchhitter coming off the bench, but this fella lacks skill (dud).

Come on open your eyes, if Shitty thought he was any good do you really think he would offload him.. maybe it's payback time for the Zantuck deal.

I'll give you one more to remember, Blumfield, what a waste of a pick that was.

Thanks, but no thanks.

The Bumfeild deal should be enough to haunt us for many years to come.

Need skill in the side, SKILL !!!!!

Could not have said it better myself. One thing that really annoys me about some posters on PRE is that they don’t seem to be able to let go. Whenever a player is mooted for trade there’s a stream of people saying “but he played some good games for us”, and “I think he’s just about to come good”, or “he’ll come back to bite us”. And when we do trade somebody, they put in a couple of good games, or even a good piece of play, and people mumble “geez I knew we shouldn’t have traded him”.

Think of the big picture FCS. Stagnation is death. Haynes coming back? Please let it be just a rumour.

Who let him go is not the question. Who is stupid enough to even think for one nano second about bringing him back is the question we need answered.

Greg Miller, the clock is ticking. No spindoctoring, we need to improve our list. We cannot go in round 1 next year with virtually the same list.

Hear hear Deadbored, informative and concise as usual. I remember after he went to Essendon and played one or two reasonable games there were posters on this site lamenting the fact that we let him go ::) And of course now he's getting the arse from there :o

I struggle to understand the esteem with which some hold Greg Miller. Yeah he landed Brown and Wallace which was well done. But's let's have a look at a few other names:

Nicholls, Fleming, Weller, Morrison ??? Not too mention ridiculously huge money offers thrown at Solomon and Copeland which thankfully were rejected.

If he is in fact thinking of bringing a non-achiever like Haynes back to RFC then he has a some questions to answer >:(

This has got to be a joke???????????????????????????????????

I've watched most of his games at essendon and i'll fair dinkum spew if we pick this hack up, and to even consider giving up pick 40 now this is beyond a joke >:(

Well, it could be a very interesting day tomorrow then fellow PRE's!!!

If memory serves correct Haynes went from the under 18's to Essendon rookie list, then to Richmond and back to Essendon. He's been on senior lists for about 6 seasons for about 20 games. We don't need to continue this merry go round! Keep out pick 40! Someone send an email to Greg and let him know!

I've heard that Ben Haynes has had talks with both Collingwood and Adelaide.

However, I wouldn't bother recruiting him as Haynes has a bad back which has kept him out playing for Bendigo Bombers for the last half season.

Haynes is a brilliant set shot for goal but the big question is, last year and for the first half of his year, why wasnt he able to feature in the Essendon side ??? Having watched a few games, Ben Haynes if a soft player who WILL NOT go for the hard ball.

Best to stay away from him as he hasnt got what it takes. Considering the fact playing under Sheedy who seems to get the best out of his players, Haynes isnt up to AFL standard.

this should be who wants Haynes back?????? I would rather promote Foley,if he hasnt been promoted already

great point Bowerpower.

Foley is a class act. Given some exprience and game time, he'll be a player of the future.
