With the signing of Raines, Polo, Pettifer, and White, and the end of the season, trading period and draft  rapidly approaching, I was wondering who remains uncontracted.

From searching through recent posts (much credit to WesternTiger), here is what i can work out.  Of interest is the 2006 and Unknowns.  They make up 19 players.

Tambling 2007
Krak 2007
Brown 2007
Casserley 2007

UNKNOWNS

Hyde
Johnson
Kellaway
Humm 2006?
Howat 2006?
Graham 2006?

Chaffey 2006
Jackson 2006
Knobel 2006
Limbach 2006
McGuane 2006
Moore 2006
Roach 2006
Stafford 2006
Humm 2006?

I believe its the above nine. what combination I don't, could be some trade.

Moore & Mcguane similar position, maybe one will remain. +1
Humm, Roach, Chaffey. There is experience and youth. Only one will remain. +2 (+3)
Stafford to retire +1 (+4)
Jackson & Limbach. Different style position players. Jackson can play both back and forward, however, may not fit well in the backline given our list of good players. Has shown some ability to play forward. Limbach no first experience but in his third year with Richmond. one will go +1 (+5)
Knoble is considered safe, however, could go in trade, pending other clubs requirement.

There will be five picks, A Graham will remain rookie, If Chaffey is held, Roach may become rookie, thus two new rookies.

I hate to harp on about this, I am just so disappointed with RFC when I see Rodan contracted for another. An obvious delist, but we have to go a (decent) player short next year due to bowing down to a player who has never been anything more than run of the mill.

What happens if Thursfield doesn't come up next season and needs an addition year, would you yell for his delisting?

No, because he has shown more potential in 7 games than Rodan did in the 3 years leading up to his knee. I didn't yell for his delisting when he did his knee, I did say that when he held out on the contract offered by the club, that he can walk into the PSD & see how many clubs will agree to giving a fringe player coming off a knee a 2 year contract.
Club is bigger than player, an error on the clubs behalf as far as I can see.
