Who should we beat and still keep the priority pick?

If we can win only 2 more games which 2 do you want to win? Pick 2.

Yeah am aware of the Turbo situation, all good fun...and as for my sons the other one barracks for the Roos. :help That's boys for you. :blah My daughter is a Tiger though. :hearton

Not good enough Rosy, failure for children to barrack for the Tigers should be grounds for loss of custody :spin

Haha try telling them that when we're on the bottom and their teams are winning games.

still child abuse, be careful or John Howard will send the Feds to your house :hihi

Seriously though, I cannot belief sympathizing with a Hawks flag win. It was painful watching Dunstall beat us again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again in the 80's.

Also I still haven't forgiven Dermie for breaking Free's head (he is always a Hawk in my eyes :))

I want to beat the Hawks most but like Rosie wouldn't mind them winning the flag this year. I reckon we are about to rebuild our list in a similar fashion to the Hawks so if what they did works then our future should be bright.

The four I'd like to win:
Hawthorn, to pull their supporters into line
Geelong, to prove that something was amiss in R6
Collingwood, no explanation needed
St.Kilda (R22), springboard to 2008

but to stick with the rules of the poll, Collingwood & St.Kilda.

1. St Kilda - we should always aim to win the next game (besides which I can't remember the last time I went to the Chrome and left happy)
2. Hawthorn - just to show we're not that far off

Definitely the Pies, that was a terrible loss earlier this year. Also we have the mother of all losses to avenge against the Cats and I still haven’t forgiven them for beating us in Cambo’s last game.

Can I pick 3? Because I really want to beat the Hawks, not because of one loser who barracks for them, but because they are media darlings for supposed not tanking in 2006. Everyone seems to have forgotten they did the mother of all tanks in the previous two years.

Actually I want to beat Essendon too….. and the Saints…….

Essendon - too many scars from kn**headed arrogant supporters over the years. Their smug faces have been everywhere.

Port - Richo's 250th and something about them and especially CC gets to me.

FFS - let's win them all though. 9th can still be ours

Sorry for the me too post. Oh, and I really would like to win more than two more matches. I don't believe in tanking for draft picks.

Me three and ditto to the anti-tanking sentiments. Win the lot Tiges, I want to beat Collingwood and Essendon most but I want to beat all the others too.

I rarely if ever agree with Ms Rosy... But well said.

I can't believe the loser mentality some supporters have.

Geelong never tanked, and they sit proud at the top of the table right now.

Fair enough. For the record, although I started this poll I too want to win every game.

I was thinking about only winning two more games if we were to keep the priority pick, and it got me interested in which teams, out of the teams we have left to play, do PREenders really like to win against. To be honest I am really surprised that Collingwood still out-polls everyone in the "I want to pound your face into the dirt" stakes even though they really have been pretty inoffensive to us in recent times. (Ok ok Eddies DAMN annoying). Essendon too polls well. It just goes to show the traditional rivalries are still alive and well. Quite pleasing really.

Don't worry mate, wasn't referring to any individual specifically.

I'd love to know what some of the more vocal 'tank at all costs' posters would do if we won the next two games.

Would they show up to the remaining games and barrack against us? >:( Or would they go to games and cheer the wins, then come on here and bemoan the lost draft picks ;)

I didn't think you were :) I just hate the idea that someone should think I would be in favour Richmond of ever losing a football match. Just wanted to make that clear. ;)
