I can't remember the name of this player that played for Richmond. There was a particular incident that made him famous, which my grandfather told me about. Apparentally he was backing back with the flight of the ball and got absolutely crunched, and the ball fell out of his hands, and he was knocked unconscious. The umpire called play on, but the ball was stuck underneath this guys body. He got jumped on by an opposition player, and the umpire gave holding the ball. But he was unconscious!
