PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Punt Road has gone very quiet on this topic of late.

It could mean one of two things. Possibly someone has been appointed but is working for another club and can't get out of his current contract until after the trade and/or draft period. The alternative is that everyone approached has knocked back the job, probably because they are used to bigger bucks at their current club.

Now that all the coaching jobs are sorted, there could be new blood in the mix. Personally, I think it could be a good role for someone like Neale Daniher. He has a reasonable coaching record already and a couple of years in this sort of role could be very beneficial for him, rounding off his experience and skill set for another tilt at coaching. He could probably work in the media at the same time anyway.
