i hope we get a replacement coach this week but anyway, heres the favourites on sportsbet already up.

1. W.Campbell $2.50
2.D.Hardwick $5.00
3. N.Buckley $6.00
4. L.Matthews $8.00
5. K.Sheedy $12.00

i hope Sheedy

Why would any of these people want to coach Richmond? After seeing what happened to Wallet, they would be mad to take the job.

Richmond ends more coaching careers than life threatening illnesses...

Sheedy will be in a role of Director of coaching, with Wayne Campbell match day coach ;)

Next step after that would be merging with Melbourne.

Wayne Campbell... ??? I would rather have the neighbours cat coach us.

get Buckley in now as assistant, Wallace sees out the year, Buckley takes over. Everyone's a winner, except the team of course, in most games for the rest of the year.......

Why do Buckley's mono syllabic utterances as a special comments man give anyone the impression that he could actually be a decent coach? What success did Collingwood experience with him as captain? I don't know who can coach this team anymore. I don't think anyone can. God himself could coach the Richmond football team and within 3 years they would have broken Him and we'd be howling for Him to be sacked.

i`m not the smartest cookie but strike me pink how could anyone with any sort of IQ seriously consider wayne campbell as our next full time coach.

it`s mind boggling to me.

newsflash: wayne campbell has as much chance of being the next full time richmond coach as carl williams.

I believe Buckley would make an excellent coach. Great player, very good skills, strong, hard at the ball, courageous, self belief, reads the game well, lives for the game, players walked taller around him, got the most out of his teammates and played under one of the best coaches of the modern era in Malthouse.

If somehow, we would convince Buckley to come to Richmond, I would be rapt.

How about sign Malthouse for 2 years with Buckley as his assistant also written into their contracts that Mick hands the main job over to Buckley after 2 years think outside the box a bit?
