Hmmm, a membership influencing recruitment decision and not a positive one either.  Given how much I like the Fervola monster, if he fails I will cheerfully call for Miller's head on a platter.  No pressure.  You might guess on this issue my opinion is fairly extreme.  I would also be bitterly disappointed in that soothsayer and wise one Phantom and his currently reassuring  e-mail excerpt.

Gad!  Miller has been looking to get a high profile player and failed for the last few years.  Will it be just our luck that the first really big deal he closes is for the only turkey in the shop?  The deal Carlton administration, past presidents and players and coaching staff are hoping and praying to close each night before they go to bed. 

I haven't checked but I wonder if the Carlton Fansite (I presume there is one) has a thread about how gullible Richmond and Miller look on the verge of relieving them of their No. 1 dud!

Hey Claw, reckon everyone would be salivating if J Brown were to come - but any thoughts what we would have to give to get him. Tivvers & Searge the only poss trades. They would probably want Brown,, Cogs or Tuck.

Yze is probably the best of that list, plus he'd fill the mid sized defender role we need, but there's his age and the salary he would expect. Salopek being only 20 and with the lowest profile is probably best value for mone,. but he's a gamble. Forget about the rest either too old or too undisciplined.

At the risk of being crucified, I would vote Fatnell from that list (provided his foodbill wasnt too high).

He has talent....cant deny that. A change in scenary COULD bring him back to his best. Could add value at either CHF or CHB provided he gets fit.

I wouldnt give up our first round pick for him though. It would have to be a player and second round pick trade. Probably wont happen in which case.

First round draft pick, Cogs & Krak. We pay some of their wages. We pay their assistant coaches wages. We buy Lee a new car, some type of Rolls Royce, and I become super religious.

The Dream is nice though....
