Whos going to Freo [Merged]

Re: Whos going to Freo

I'm making the trip, but only to Adel (from Melbourne)

So I'm relying on finding somewhere to have a few beers and watch the game as my hotel does not have Fox Footy.

Re: Whos going to Freo

No go for this year, decided upon Brisbane and Sydney as my away trips for this season.

With the super 14s over I wonder if Claw-rine is going to wander down to Subi for a gander?? ;)

My trip to WA

Hi all.

Just wanted to share with you my delight that my bags are now packed and at 2.20pm today I will be departing for perth.

The key event this weekend is obviously my ticket to the game on Saturday night, where I hope I will see something pretty spectaclular from our boys.

The long trip to Avalon today will be exciting as I'm catching up up with my best mate who's getting married over there later this year, and I'm also catching up with an gorgeous girl from 6 years ago when I last was there.  We've kept in touch and become even closer, so maybe I get lucky quite a few times this week... :hihi  Richmond win included obviously.  Anyway, once the suit fitting is out the way tomorrow for the wedding, it is party time.

I have also set my dvd recorder for Sat nights game, just in case I'm a little bit too drunk to remember it.  I'll give a report of the Shockers supporters and Subi when I get back, but wont go on about the game because by Tuesday night(when i arrive home) it will have been done to death.

Does anybody who knows perth well go to any pubs/clubs after the game that are nearby?

howdy lads,

Leysys making the trek as well, mainly to catch up with mates from my time in Perth. But I'm sure the footy will come in handy as well.

Easily the best pub pre game (now I'm goin back 4 years or so) is the Subiaco Hotel on Cnr Hay st & Rokeby Rd in subi. its only a 5 min trek to the ground. (I'll be there post game so if anyone wants to catch up just send us a PM).

Also decent are Black Toms bar on Hay St & JB ORielly's off Rokeby Rd.

& to be honest Subi's as good a place as any to head out for the night if bars n clubs are your cup of tea I reckon.

Subi is great, was in Perth last weekend and added to the list, just down from the Subi Hotel is the Vic, which is also a great place for a :beer

I live in Perth so I'll be there, as unfortunately, this is one of two games I get to see. I hope it goes better than the last one. C'Mon Tigers. :clap

We'll want a full report Balmy & I'm not talking about the game. ;)

I am very pleased to say that after 3 years in the wilderness (due to the fact i wasnt in the country for our footy season) I will be making the trip to subiaco to watch the mighty tigers once again. Although i doubt i have to go as far as most of you. I only live about 25kms away. Already bought my tickets. Anyone in the richmond travelling group know where their seats are? Im in block 335 so i was just wondering if i would be somewhere near you guys or if i would be stuck with the one eyed (with no football knowledge by the way...i think booing chris judd shows this) shockers supporters.

Watever happens i will be there fully kitted out in my tigers gear hoping for a big night on the turps to celebrate a good win.....see you all there!!!

I've got tickets for myself, my brother and our 2 boys, and we are in section 137, which I hate to say will most certainly be among a lot of freo supporters. At least if we win it will make it a very sweet night.

freo and south perth area, saturday night (if not to busy) northbridge
and for sunday afternoon the cottesloe pub

you lucky bastard

Yeah PPT, 137, I believe is in amongst the Freo Ferals.

Section 144 & 145 is behind the goals at the city end, where most WARSC will be. If not on the 1st level, the RFC cheer squad will most likely be above these goals on the 3rd level.

The Cott on a Sunday arvo is great but if you want to remain a little closer to Perth and still work out the optical nerve try The Queens Hotel in Nth Perth.

The Leederville Hotel on a Saturday night is the go especially after a win ;)

Yeah i tried to get tickets in 144 or 145 but was impossible to get 4 in the same row and as we're taking our boys, we'd prefer that we are seated together. Next year I will go through the WARSC for tickets.
