This is Denis Pagan's record at Carlton now into his 5th year

Carlton (2003- ) 96 games, 23 wins, 71 losses, 2 draws :rofl THAT'S A DISGRACEFUL RECORD

And just quietly I can't see them making the finals in the next 3 years.

Just for the record this is Terry Wallace's record at Richmond

52 games, 21 wins, 31 losses ( not too bad considering the way Spud damaged the Club )

And I have no doubt whatsoever we will be playing finals footy in the next couple of years. ;D

I don't think we should keep blaming Spud forever.  Terry's wins were more with the list he took over than the one he's developed.  We made great improvement in Terry's first season but now, after he's been in position to shape the list for a few years, we've gone backwards.

I think the media is extremely kind to Terry.  Imagine if Frawley had us 8-0 at the start of a season with record defeats thrown in.  Bottom of the ladder dismal percentage etc.  The media would have absolutely crucified him.

I'm glad the media don't get stuck into Terry or Denis and I wish they'd butt out of other teams' business as well.  They have too much power when their main aim is to get viewers or sell papers.
 
Fair question. Carlton are still a chance for this years spoon which would be 4 in 5 years I think.

Doubt whether pagan will be re-appointed at the end of his current contract.
 
Attention Rosy :

Just a suggestion but maybe we could dedicate a thread to the stuff ups and hatred for MR Spud Frawley and keep it open for 1 month.
That way it would give everyone a chance to get everying out of their system at once and lay all of the cards on the table.
It might be actually a good form of release for al ot of people, then maybe we all can get on with looking to the future together !
After the 1 month has passed close the book on him forever and submit it to the archives. Never to be opened again !!!

Only for viewing and historical purposes.
 
Probably because when he 1st started there he didn't have draft picks & only in the last few years has had access to good quality kids & the fact that he has two flags under his belt at North but the blowtorch will be on him soon if they don't start winning because Pratt has high expectations!!
 
Those pretty colours got my attention Hero. :D

It's a good idea in theory. We could all exorcise our demons. The one I still cringe about when I think of it is the Knighter shafting but I really think it's time to step away from the Frawley plate and let the cows go back to their paddocks. We don't remember the Spud era fondly but it can't be used as an excuse forever.

Feel free to start the thread and see where it goes.  I'm long over our Frawley era myself...(except I'll never forget what he did to Knighter).  >:( 

It's not only Spud's reign that leaves a bitter taste, there's Geish and Walls and....

Much closer to the mark. No song & dance routines coming from Pagan. Keep a low profile & everyone is so used to them being pathetic. There were some expectations of us this year to at least be mid range. 2-6 is still better than 0-8

I think he will be sacked at season's end & paid out.
