PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Why would he make a good coach ?

- Was in the Box with Lethal in all 3 premiership wins at Brisbane

- He is not part of the cancer at Tigerland being away from the Club for so many years...I swear if Wayne Campbell is made coach, I'll throw in the towel...funny how he returns to the Club and we instantly FAIL...he is a big part of the cancer at the Club and must be shown the door.

- He would get rid of the fossils in Simmonds, Johnson, Bowden, Richo and Brown...keeping Cuz for another year.

- He would get rid of players that have been given more than enough opportunity to progress at League level in Edwards, King, McMahon, Oakley-Nicholls and Schulz

- He like Wallace was a big possession winner in the midfield...but unlike Wallace, Lambie had to scrap hard in a Richmond team that was AVERAGE throughout his career...whereas Wallace had champion upon champion playing alongside him in his Hawthorn playing days...I think Oakley-Nicholls could have been called a champ in that era...but then again...we'll leave that one to the keeper.

- Lambie wouldn't be as "pricey" as a Malthouse, Buckley or Williams.

I love the way Knighta is going about it at Essendon...and I know Lambie would have the same impact on a young group.

Come Home Lambie...we need you.
