Why hasn't Joel been played?

A champion of the club being very poorly handled.

If the decision is that he is not to be played in front of kids why are some others being played?

The season is over should play from next week on for the rest of the season.

Reported else where that Joel played his last game for Coburg yesterday and was clapped off by the players.

Can anyone confirm?

If so next week will be his farewell game I would assume.

I'm with you Rosy.

Quite apart from not being allowed to substantially increase our chance of winning games, Joel is being treated disgracefully by Richmond.

Do we.......

Play Joel for the last time?
Play Simmo for the last time?
Play JON for the last time?
Play Polack for the last time?
Play Cogs for the last time?
Play pettifer for one last year ?
Play King and McMahon even though they aren't up to it?

Just let the year end. I am not into sentimental garbage....get it done and let us move on!

They've been very successful at it. Roos has got Hall, Bolton, Mattner, Richards, Jolly etc. to buy into the club culture

You can definately throw Shaw into that mix too.

I thought that a number of their kids today looked really good as well. White up forward, and O'Dwyer look real prospects. Kieran Jack played a very good game on Ben Cousins, and Hanebury and Smith look to have a big future.

For us.....not a good outing.

Has anyone heard anyhting about Joel having a farwell game against the Pies.

On his form last week and our effort yesterday he would be a walk up selection anyway.

Hard to work out why Cogs is considered by some to have reached the used by date when you look at form in Coburg over several weeks. He has come back after 2.5 years out and has consistently been amongst the best, and continiung to improve as fitness and confidence builds and is just 27 yo.

Whilst having a hutch of running rabbits looks good when the pressure is on they freeze in the headlights. Whereas Cogs type players consistently get the hard ball and lay tackles. Is Cameron Ling the fastest guy on the track? Are finals not won generally by grinding defence, tackles and clearances at stoppages? Another club would be getting a sleeper for very little if the Tigers let him go. And it would be a disgrace given the effort and heart put into his recovery to not be given the same opportunity as others to perform on the main stage.

Joel was just on SEN and confirmed this week IS his farewell game

He also said that Mark Ricciuto had 1500 people turn up to his testimonial, and so far there will be about 150 at Joels... which is kinda sad but i rekon the $180 a ticket price is a bit steep...

I thought they move venue because of demand for tickets!

Please if he was playing people would be complaining about that too. Goodluck to Joel in his final game on Saturday, hes probably happy to get away.
