Depth!

It's something that's killed us in recent years.  Players have virtually been guaranteed a spot in the seniors no matter how bad their performance has been.

We've dropped so few players that it's a memorable occasion when it happens.

I can only really think of three.  The less I say about Danny Frawley saying "we'll see who wants to play for RFC" then dumping Knighter the better. >:(

Poor Richo had to front a three ring circus media conference when he was dropped back for a week. ::)

Joel's demotion for a week has almost reached legendary status. :o

The fact is we neither use Coburg as a disciplinary or learning option near often enough.

Our list so far is basically the same as last season, less a bit of experience in Graham and Campbo.

We need some depth so players actually have to earn their spots on merit rather than name or lack of option.

I can see it being a problem again next season and I hope we get an experienced player in the PSD who's capable of keeping the fringe players honest.

The secret is drafting the right player.  Good luck Greg. :)

P.S. I'd prefer a player in the PSD AND a full list of rookies.
