Couldnt beieive what I heared on the radio yesterday. Apparently Rex went down to the rooms to show his support to the team as a former player and premiership tiger and was shown the door.......???!!!

WTF

At a time when we need all the help we can we show no repect at all to the past, bloody disappointing...

I give up!!! :-\ :-\ :-\

Apparently they thought he was there in his media profile not as a former player. It must be hard drawing a line, but you'd think the club would love the bearded burbler as he does still love the Tiges.

I recall Rex saying that the doorman thought he was there as a member of the media rather than a former RFC player. Not necessarily excusing the rejection - but may go some way to explain it.

I heard that. Wasn't he talking about that back in the comentators box afterwards?

If he was REALLY down there as a former RFC player (and not as a member of the media) then surely we wouldn't have heard about it.

What was Rex Hunts reaction. Did he go over the top. I hope not.

If Richmond wanted no one in the media down there then so be it. He is a former player but also a member of the media.

He should be big enough to understand that and he would not be support if he made something of it afterwards.

I dont know if he did, Did he anyone???

Fair point though. If he had gone down as an ex-player/supporter and not as a media identity, we wouldn't have heard about it in the media.

Totally Agree
