OK, so it's only three games into a season, but seriously, there have been three games we could have and should have won (considering our "aheadness" at critical times) and we frittered anything vaguely resembling hardness and "winning-ness" away.
Yet I can't even remotely conceive of following any other AFL team - and it's the only sport I give a toss for. I was born a Tiger and will die one - but with such continually gutting lacks of effort it makes me wonder why I keep paying my club membership and coterie group membership every year. Maybe I really am a masochist?
I don't know what the solution to our problems is as I can hardly claim to be a football expert. But when the last year of anything vaguely resembling greatness during my lifetime was 1982...
And I wonder why my GP wants to put me on anti-depresssants...!
(Sorry all, just a dejected vent - I'll be barracking just as hard next Friday, but jeez it hurts when it feels like many of those donning the yellow and black really don't give a flying fig.)
