Will Hardwick stubbornness win us or lose us a premiership?/Hardwick [Merged]

They're still examples of recycled AFL players taken with draft picks who helped the successful teams they played for.

Hird spoke to him about staying, apparently. Doesn't change the fact they couldn't get even a 5th rounder out of us (or anyone else) in a trade for him.

We offered pick 47 which Essendon declined.

OK, my bad. Still, look back at the Houli thread and you'll see plenty of people against getting him for pretty much these same reasons.

Yep he's been a good pickup no doubt.

Still needs to keep his output up or he could yet find himself on shaky ground in the future.

Yeah, think he needs to slot into the midfield pretty soon. Good boot on him though so might still be part of the solution.

Be really interesting to see if bash gets a solid run in heavy traffic.

Doesn't strike me as a hunting type or a sleight of hand magician like titch.

Would probably need to hang off, which is fine.

No worries zips. I'm not a betting man myself, but I am pretty confident that Dimma will be right. All the best mate.

He will be ok. It's up the 22 that the field 22 times next year!!
All the best buddy

I'm reading The Hafey Years at present.

As long as Hardwick deeply wants a premiership.
Gathers the right coaches and players about him, and they deeply want a premiership.
And, they do all that they can to achieve one, it'll happen.

personaly im very happy with the Vlas pick
we took a risk with Griffo and we are still waiting for that to pay off
this time round we took the solid option
