PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

In this thread I just wanted to create some discussion regarding CHB and FB 2008. Whilst I agree that we have heavily invested in Mids and HBF types I was just wondering if everyone thinks that we have a major problem with CHB and FB or not. For instance, forgetting 2007 for a minute, which players do we see as being able to properly fill those 2 roles in 2008 and which players will be able to swing between both positions if needs be. In other words who will be our most versatile backmen who can play on say O'Keefe for a quarter but will then have to swing onto Barry Hall when he starts to kick Gaspar's butt. (Eg only Andy!)

It seems that the coaching staff do so this as a dilemna and that is why they are trying to turn Cleve into a very versatile type. I believe he has bulked up nicely too. Like I say forget 07 for a minute and jump a year ahead.

The Ruck is another story but leave that for another thread.
