PUNT ROAD END | Richmond Tigers Forum

Hi guys was just interested in everyones thoughts on this. Im in my mid 30s and like everyone here absolutely craving success. As i was sitting head in hands during the first quarter against the pies I looked to my wife (not really into footy. She was once a crow but only cos of Modra I reckon) and her exact words were I dont know why you bother they have been crap forever. This got me to thinking, I am a Tiger just like my dad, who got to see success, I guess I was 5 in 1980 so many moons ago.
My son will be 4 this year and he could never be anything but a tiger, although as a parent only wanting the best for his kids its hard to tell him week in week out "nah mate we didnt win today but at least we came second"his reply on sunday was" well can we sing the song at the start again next week" Yeah mate of course we can!
In all reality how can we still love something as much as we love the tigers. There is not one other thing (ah except the dragons NRL) that I could love in life if it let me down so consistently for so long.
Come on tiges do it for the kids if nothing else!
