Just have been thinking about the season so far & a guy who doesn't really get spoken about is Will Thursfield.
This guy has been terific all year (all career).
So far he has taken Fev, Thompson, Rocca/Cloke & now Pav/McPharlin. He has not been beaten & has won enough of his own ball. He also now has the strength to atually hold his ground and take body on body & pack marks. He knows when to spoil & IMO is one of the best spoilers in the comp.
He's very reliable by foot (an improvement on Gaspar for sure) & seems to show poise and hits the right option by hand or foot. He very rarely seems to be caught with the ball. A real favourite of mine.
If he continues at his current rate he may be spoken of in the future as an endorsement for the rookie list a la Cox at WCE.
