I seriously think we have too much pace for the Pie's IF we put it all together!!

No. Pies move the ball very quickly. Our only hope is to choke them.

ote]lets see what game plan TW comes up with!!

Some interesting stats

We've beaten them 3 out of the last 5 times the teams have met.
These victories have included the last two games in which Sugar collected in the vicinity of 30 possessions.
So the captain will again hopefully have a good game on Sunday.

Also these averages per game this season are the standout differences between the sides:
Disposals
Richmond 333 Collingwood 368 :thumbsdown

Marks

Richmond 115 Collingwood 125 :thumbsdown

Scoring Accuracy

Richmond 55% Collingwood 65% :thumbsdown

Hitouts
Richmond 30 Collingwood 23 :thumbsup

Uncontested possessions
Richmond 313 Collingwood 340 :thumbsdown

Statiscally we are right up against it. But hey since when did that matter?

A more detailed analysis in the head to head stats can be found here.

Have tipped the tiges but not overly confident. Emphasis needs to be on player v player contest rather than a game plan v game plan. The one area we are clearly better than Collingwood is contested possesions and we do match up pretty well against the pies key players. The pies have an efficient forward line so if jobs can be done on Rocca (Hall/Pattison), Tarrant(Gaspar) and Didak(Raines) they will drop their heads and Buckley will start shouting at them. Like all Malthouse teams they kick a lot of goals from beyond 50 and out wide so there needs to be extra effort to put pressure on the running shots at goal.

Don't guive us much chance.Pies playing well should win by 5 goals+.Hope we don't play Richo.Too risky.

And a happy day was had by all. Got let down by the Eageles, mind you thats almost as good as not tipping Richmond and watching them get up.

You'll have to start listening to me mb. ;D I was right about the Hawks game and you were way out. I was right against the Pies and you were off the mark again. I'm glad about the second one though. :D

If I had to have a choice, I get much more pleasure out of thrashing the pies anyway. I just read some of the trash on their web site. They really are low life gutter mouths.

I'm glad we have a much higher class family orientated site, where people can actually discuss football in a balanced way, instead of resorting to that kind of low IQ one eyed abuse. Thanks Rosy. :)

We will not beat Collingwood  :'(

Funny thing, footy. After this prognostication, I actually warmed to our chances as the weather got wetter.

To the extent that I actually put $50 on the Tiges to win   :clap

Ummm, by under 39.5 points ................... :'(

Never been happier to say goodbye to my money  ;D
