Win & Margin 2nite - Rich V Freo

As much as I'd like to see the kids doing well what I'd also like to see is Browny have a real cracker. He seems to be the forgotten man these days.It is probably his last or 2nd last season this year..His pre season seems uninterupted,it would be great to see a true champ really show his wares a few more times.

I still remember that last quarter against collingwood where he banged on 5 goals like it was yesterday.

I JUST WISH IT WOULD START ALREADY!!

I'm a bit worried I've lost my passion. I can't get overly enthused about the game, although I've got the DVD in ready to tape it just in case. I'm sure I'd be different if it was a H&A game. If we win I'll be rapt but but if we lose I'll think oh well it's only a glorified practise game where form often counts for nothing when the real thing starts. Having said that you'd better win Tiges.

when was the last time we won a pre- season game?
was it in 2002 when we made the grand final?

looking forward to seeing nahas tonight,or hearing about him i should say,i just checked the paper and realised it`s not even on free to air.

going by our form at subiaco last year we should go pretty well tonight.
not confident of a win though.

last time we won a pre season game was brownys first game for the club against the dogs. they were wearing those horrible guernseys and browny got cleaned up by rohan smith.

it was about 2004 id reckon

Yeah agree. The Brown dog was one of the top 5 form players in the game when he broke the leg.

The five goals in a quarter was one of the better efforts I have seen by a Richmond footballer in a long time.

Thought Browny looked like he had a point to prove last night bevo. Was blowing pretty hard.
Will be interesting to see how he goes during the year. My gut is he'll struggle.

Really? I thought last night he actually had some zip back. Even made a chase down tackle. Looked as quick as I have seen in 18 months. I think he'll be just fine and end up having his best season since the leg.

I hope you're right Scooper. We'll see I guess.

Inclined to agree. First game in a long time where he has made impressive defensive efforts. I thought he looked sharp myself.
