You throw Browny & Simmo in that side today and we would have won. The kids just need the cooler heads to prevail when it comes to the crunch. We will win 4 out of our last 11 which will do me fine if we can manage that. Some real good signs and it isn't all doom and gloom. Also can someone give Soloman a bex and tell him to have a lie down he's so intense :rofl

Let's please not win 4 of the 11. 3 out of the remaining 11 will be perfect, and in the other 8, competitive but not quite get over the line. Let's not eff up this chance to gain an extra priority pick in this draft. It's the one and only chance we'll get. Next year we will be more than competitive. Kruezer or whoever is best at 1, then to have two picks, 17 & 18, instead of just 18 will be massive. So basically wouldn't u rather 1 less win but gain pick 17? Last bit of patience fellow tigers.

GO TIGES!!!

There certainly are some good signs.

Let's win all that we can. Successful footy sides don't accept competitive losses and a winning culture far outweighs a second round pick on an untried 18 year old.

A mate of mine who follows Melbourne recently pointed out to me what the new bottom of the ladder is. It is finishing in the range 9-13. His term for it is the 'being sucked into the black hole'. You don't make the fnals, nor do you get the best players who will take you back to the finals more easily..

The current system rewards the bottom team currently.

Because I agree with both posts, I want to play to win every game, but if we are going into the last couple of games in the season on 3 1/2 wins, the side that is out there should be going full tilt for the win, and the selection comittee should be making sure the team is chock full of youngsters.

There are some great signs. If simmo hadve been in we wouldve won, as Patto is very inexperienced when fronting up against someone like sandilands. but in his credit he wasnt completely smashed. I see a win on the horizon with Simmo and Brown in, and KK out!

And gee. . . solo man was really quite scary . . . . :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl dno what was running thru his pea brain but he is not the tough man he thinks!

The biggest downside i can see is that we do not have a stable full back. JB is not a Fb. He needs to be at CHB and allowed to run. but until thursty develops, our options are really quite few. Makes it more sour when a knob like Headland can kick a bag of goals . . . itl be his shining light for the year.

Enough negativity! GO TIGES!!

It was another gallant effort, although I'm rather sick of those now. I swear if Clinton Grybas had pointed out one more time that we were 26 points up in the 2nd quarter to paraphrase Terry Wallace "I'll spew up!" Solomon is a deadset idiot, someone else must tie his shoes for him, because I don't think he has the brains to do it himself. I want KK sacked immediately, he was worse than useless.

Carlton winning has changed things somewhat, I think we are a monty to get pick 1 or 2 given Melbourne and Carlton play each other twice. Good news indeed because either Cotchin or Kreuzer would slot into the team very nicely. The priority pick is also looking very likely as 4 wins from 11 matches seems a long way off at the moment. Let's just hope the Dees knock off the Pies today.

I agree that a win isnt far away and i got a feeling once the shackles are off they will get a bit if a run on and string together a few wins.

As a supporter i want them to win as many games as possible but im also kind of hoping that they are still eligible for a priority pick. I reckon TW would privately spew if they missed out on that now after the season so far!

As for Soloman, im so happy he changed his mind about coming to punt road but i think Greg Miller would be happier!

Imagine...

King Thursfield J.Bowden
Raines Polak Newman
Deledio Coughlan Tivendale
Pettifer Hughes Tambling
Brown Richo Schulz/JR?

R. Simmonds, Foley, Polo

I. Pattison....the rest

....we would be in the 8....players like Edwards, Meyer, Howat, White, JON, Casserly, Conners, McGuane etc all fighting it out for a spot in the 22....things are DEFINITELY looking up...i cant wait to see this team in 2-3yrs....

Lets not get ahead of ourselves and talk about 3 or more wins.
Come on Walla$e can we win at least 1 game this year. We dont need to tank games were going to finish last anyway.
Just one win sometime soon is all I ask.
