???Can anyone tell me what the yearly attendance figures were for the last two tigers wooden spoon years, and how they compared overall with the other sides in those years?

2007 - 909,203 = 41,327 p.g (Ave = 36,793)

2004 - 751,982 = 34,181 p.g (Ave = 33,579)

This doesn't account for the vageries of the draw but makes you wonder what it would be like if we were any good and hadn't "turned off" and entire generation(s) over the past 25 years ...

:)Thanks for the reply, yes I agree for a team down so long our attendances have been great.I wonder how the attendances compared to the other sides in those years.I seem to remember that one of the years we might have been in the top4.I stand corrected.Anyway when we do make the next Grand Final I am sure The MCG and Punt Rd will be bursting.

i believe our crowd figures last year are the biggest ever for a wooden spoon team, beating both collingwood and carlton.

Richmond - 2007 - 909,203

Richmond - 2004 - 751,982

Collingwood - 1999 - 886,750

Carlton - 2005 - 821,536

Carlton - 2006 - 813,535

i`d say that`s proof that we are more loyal than both carlton and collingwood supporters.

ps:here`s an excellent site if you want to know about crowd figures.

Yeah but our final figure was certainly boosted with that "Sheedy Hird" game.

88,000 when we would have normally expected no more than 50k.

Aside from that its still a good effort by our fans to keep going & putting up with the sh!t our players dish out. :-\
