Wooden spoon for 2007

We will win a few games we aren't expected to, we will get excited, but it will be another false dawn. We are rubbish.

What we need to do, is get a guy who's basically so far ahead of the other youngsters in the juniors, he's a unanimous first selection in the draft.
Much like Delidio in 2004.

That way, we know, we'll get the best player, because the RFC won't have to spend any money researching it.

We won't win the spoon. We don't win anything.
But we can kiss the finals goodbye. To get into the finals you need to beat teams like the scum and Blosers twice a year. You also have to get the odd upset against a team like the Swans.
I remember too well hordes of Effenscum supporters bemoaning at the end of last year, that they lost 234 games by less than 3 goals and, if they had Louganis in the team things may have been different.
It's early but I can see a pattern developing.
If nothing else, it fits the pattern of pretty much every other year down at Tigerland.

Its been said time and time again....but i am over these hacks that Wallace continues to play. Whatever happened to - finding out who cant use the ball then getting rid of these players - crap that Wallace said in his FIRST yr...year three and here u go Terry on our list:

Tuck
Gaspar
Hyde
Howat
Pattison*
Polak*
Knobel
Hartigan
Johnson
JAckson

* - will give them time

....these guys are HORRIBLE kicks.....I just wish he would play the kids like Meyer, Casserly, JON, Hughes, WHite....stuff Coburg i wouldnt wanna play there either...look at the debutants for the pies...thrived on the opportunity...enough is enough....get these guys out and get the kids in. What is going to happen ..what we will lose?...wow thatll be a change....seriously Terry the Hawks, Lions, power, Dons and Blues are playing their kids...why the hell cant we?

Wooden Spooners in 2007?

At this stage we are 0-3.

Our next few games?

v Bulldogs?
v Westcoast?
v Geelong?
v Port?
v Adelaide?

Possibly 0-8.

Then,

v Essendon?
v Brisbane?
v Freo at Subi?

Possibly 1-10.

I'd start putting money down now before the odds dry up.

My only positive thinking for this week is, i think Melbourne were 0-3 last year, and they ended up in finals, thats all i can think of for positive thinking

If you base it on tonights disgraceful, pitiful & shameful second half performance (or should that be "non performance"?), we should be the raging hot wooden spoon favourites.

However its a long season and anything can happen.

Still think we'll finish bottom four though.

A fairly bitter way to win some money, although I’ve already started tipping against the Tigers, normally it takes until about round 12 to do that

The Kangaroos will win the spoon, but we will struggle to make the eight.

We've been in front in the last quarter of all three games, surely it's not the end of the world just yet.

We are playing kids. We had 10 players with less tha 50 games experience, plus Tuck who was playing his 50th. How young can you get?

They just need to learn how to win and finish off opponents, because they aren't too far off.

Alas our draw for the next few weeks is ugly, but we will eke out a win somewhere.

It's still only the third round of the season, so you never know, but it looks pretty bleak for the club for the rest of the season based on tonight's debacle.

If we can't defeat a team of school kids, then who can we beat???? For the life of me I can't see a win coming up in the near future. Hate to say it, but we look like being zip after 8.

Doesn't look good does it? If we can't beat a Collingwood side without arguably their best 3 players (Didak, Buckley, Clement), who exactly can we beat? Now Terry will you make some changes to the team?

Well then we should actually receive the wooden spoon rather then the number 1 pick.

The way we *smile* up draft picks is an absolute embaressment, at least with a wooden spoon we could put it to good use ;D

anybody know what our odds are for the spoon lm losing too much money betting on richmond to win.Gee l backed us to win by 43-60 last night someone hit me over the head until l get some sense back please
