I sense where you are coming from Rosy.
For this little black duck it means just that. The worst team in the competition for 2007. Cut it any way you like, but that is the cold hard fact. Personally, I hate coming last in anything, and in particular when it comes to my footy team.
Perhaps the stigma has gone from it somewhat Rosy, but I guess there are a lot of our PREnders copping heaps in the workplace today, and for a few weeks to come.
So what does coming last mean?? Simply, the worst team in the comp. for that particular year, in this case 2007. One can argue the merits or otherwise of draft picks, future improvement, or anything else for that matter. Nothing alters the fact we finished last with the dreaded wooden spoon. My son was presented with one at a family Fathers' Day gathering yesterday, and by of all things holy, a Carlton Supporter. Oh the shame. Hands up all those who don't care!! Yes, Rosy, the stigma still exists and we are in the record books yet again for all the wrong reasons.
Having said all of that, will now turn off, and look forward to some improvement in 2008, just like I did last year, the year before that and the year before that, and back for I don't know how many years.
