I reckon they should be banned as a team rule.(Unless running into goal). I reckon we stuff up 9 out of 10 of these.

Bowden, Rogers, Fiora and Tivva are the main culprits. They seem to want to kick the leather off the ball a metre off the ground, rather than ensure a safe direct pass to a teammate. (Is it a left footer thing??)

We came unstuck on these so many times in the first half yesterday.

Why undo great work getting the ball with these low percentage clangers??

You must have been listening to Gary LYON on MMM yesterday. He said exactly the same thing several times. Certain players tried to spear in a bullet like pass when a safe chip would have been more effective.
