Wornock coming home to VIC - confirmed...

If we didn't have Carlton to hate, we'd hate Collingwood even more.

Not really, they don't actually need rucks. Hampson has shown just as much as Warnock. They need KPP especially backmen. IMHO its poor list management and smacks of them being impatient. Their side is quite unbalanced. And it will only help build up salary cap pressure.

would you knock back 3 quality young developing talls? Id be happy if we had one

get Warnock and Hurley and they are laughing

They'd still be missing 1 KPP and have none in reserve. Its OK to load up on ruckmen if you have all other areas covered but they don't. They could cover the ruck already without Warnock and focus on other areas where they have no-one.

Well, I did say not to count your Warnocks until they hatch. ;)

i disagree hampson is just 20 and kruezer 19. warnock 22. he may not be anywhere near his potential but he is ready .
imo they are looking at turning kruezer into a kpf.
warnock at pick 23 hurley at pick 6. as for lacking depth in the kpds yes and no. they have after a pruning process austin19, bower 20. ohailpin 25, saddington 29, thornton 25, waite 25, and jamison 22. obviously some more pruning will happen and they will try and draft some quality early.didnt include fisher ive seen him play some good footy down back.

as i have said whilst useing their best picks on best available mainly on onballers they have loaded up with talls in the rercent past. they had 24 on the list not so long ago. even after all these talls thru their system they need to go after one or two . it just goes to show how hard it is to build up a decent list of bigmen.
imo in their attempt to build their list they have paid attention to all areas of the list and they have the sequence right.

forget about weather they are duds or skills etc for 5 minutes and focus on the process they have gone thru.
theres 7 or 8 genuine kpds and that does not include the ones they have already delisted since 2004.ive already said they need to take some quality early this yr imo if hes there they will take hurley.

im not sure but 3 or 4 yrs ago they had 24 genuine talls in their system. that has gradually come down even with drafting more talls at the start of next ye ir will be down to 16 18 . as you find the talls you want you focus more on other types for the basic and logical reason of they dont take as long as talls to firstly ind and secondly gring thru.

Has undoubted potential does Warnock. Once he fills out he could make a very good ruck.

With ruckman drafted at his height & lack of weight, there's little use looking at stats at this stage. You need to view the player with your eyes to see what his development could be like.

If Carlton get him for a 2nd round pick they'll have done very well.
oh so true leysy. for his height weight age hes done well to play the games hes played. nice mover is warnock.

Is it just me or can I see a significant switch of favourite teams from the West Coast to the Blues for the Clawmeister.

good observation. I think claw has a solid dose of Judd Man Love

I'm quite sure Warnock will not come to us. The Blues have been into his ear as they did with Judd. He will come out in the papers and say Carlton is the only club he wants Fremantle to deal with and so be it.

Would rather get and develop our own as our window of opportunity will be i believe in 2-3 years time for a premiership.

I hope anyway.

Warnock's management advised Richmond yesterday that we are out of the running. Apparently we wouldn't come to the party with a 4 year deal.

Happy with that decision.
