Some are so bad, that they just stick out in your mind. I remember one particularly well and it was this year against Adelaide. After the centre bounce, Chris Newman was about to be cleaned up whilst chasing an opponent. So to protect himself he layed a clean hip and shoulder that hardly impacted the Crows player as he kept his feet. Next thing you hear is a whistle blow for a free-kick to the Crows player. By this time Chris was going skitzo, so to clarify the decison to him, the umpire actually gave an example of how he bumped the Crows player. He did a perfect hip and shoulder! I was so close to this incident that I could hear the umpire actually saying to Chris this is how you bump! I couldn't stop laughing.
