Wouldnt happen because we have a list of 8 wins/14 losses footballers.
They will tease you and look good for a few weeks, but will always let you down in the end.
And next year will be no different!

We would only NOT have made the 8,

Without injuries we would have made the bottom part of the eight. The guys saying no because of the list are certainly half right - we would have been trounced once in there but at times we have looked a 7th or 8th placed team.

We don't have a list capable of doing well in finals footy. The bodies aren't big enough or skilled enough and given our current slide it is patently obvious that there isn't enough depth. Though you can't cover your stars and the the teams that don't have their stars go down invariably do well.

interesting that we have not lost too many close games this year, our losses have usually been large or at least well and truly over early and we have made the scoreline respectable late....

the only games i think we may have won with a fully fit team would be the Freo game

therefore i dont think we would have made the 8 - dont forget we may not win another game this year (Carlton, Essendon, Brisbane are all in better form than when we played them early this year and the eagles will be tough)

"expect" - no. as i said before i reckon we're 50/50 of making the finals next year. i do expect(or at least hope...) to make the finals 2 out of the next 3 years - i am happy with where we are at the moment but we are a LONG way off.
