The rumour I have heard. from somone who is generally reliable is that Schulz has asked to be traded. Don't know the strength of the rumour, but the source is usually reliable.

Shouldn't that be on the rumour board then gus?

Yes it should but this could end up being fact.

i agree, there is something about this kid.

Something? :headscratch

To date he's shown barely anything and in fact he's gone backwards.

This year we are the worst team in the competition and our no12dp from three years ago can't get a game despite being Wallace's pick at the time.

Most of our kids have shown plenty more & there's no excuse why Meyer shouldn't have established himself in the 22 by now. He likely would have if he showed the desire or was in fact any good.

No doubt he has some tidy disposal but that's a fraction of what AFL footy is about.
I see someone who has little desire, is still a weed, is slow & lacks motor, has never dominated a game at Coburg & can't win the footy.

Am I missing something? Please show me.

If he was going to be re-signed, he would have been already. Delist him and if a club wants to use/waste their PSD selection on him then let them go for it.

Good luck.

So could any number of rumours on the 'rumour' board.

i would love if we had the balls to trade schulz and meyer as well as axe moore krakouer hartigan on top of the 4 already gone.

go for gold :cupgold

The rumour I have heard. from somone who is generally reliable is that Schulz has asked to be traded. Don't know the strength of the rumour, but the source is usually reliable.

Very interesting. Hopefully he is worth something.

This is my ideal plan ;D

Delistments: Knoble, Hall, Gaspar, Kingsley, Krakouer, Hartigan, Howat, Moore = 8

Rookie Elevation: King, (leave Gus to see out his 3rd year, then upgrade him)

Trade: Schulz for Dogs pick 20, Meyer for Meeson, maybe Pettifer and Pick 20 for pick 8 or 9.

If we lose this week, we would gain (Meeson, Picks 1 or 2, 8 or 9, 17, 18, 34, 50, (66 PASS) = 8

We lose, Schulz, Meyer, Pettfier and on-trade pick 20.

We rookie Neville, or Silvester.

The dogs are screaming out for a battle ram hard ball getting mid. Tuck? Trade Tuck to the dogs for their second round pick.

or their first

Greg can sell it with, 'this draft is very shallow and weak...please Rocket, with a cherry on top' ;D

After reviewing the list and collating information from various sauces including rumors, I have concluded the following.

Gone will be: :wave

*smile* - retired.
Hall - retired.
Knobel - retired.
Kingsley - retired.
Hartigan - delisted.
Krakouer - will be traded or delisted. (he wants to be traded)
Schulz - is contracted till 2008, but will be traded. (he wants to be traded)
Meyer - out of contract and will be traded. (he wants to be traded)
Tivendale - out of contract and will be traded or let go into the PSD.

Strong rumors suggest that we will upgrade Howat. Personally I would rather keep Tivendale as much as it pains me to say that. I don't believe we should keep both of these one sided, soft, one trick ponys on our list. Surely one of them has to go. Therefore unfortunately I think Tivendale will be gone. I have heard that P Bowden is likely to stay.

Hyde and Moore will stay on the list unless a trade becomes available as they are both contracted until 2008. Rumors have suggested that Moore has asked to be traded?? (unlikely)

So it will be 9 senior list changes. Unless something else unexpected happens like a player like Johnson or Coughlan refuse to sign a new contract or retire.

3 rookies will be upgraded being King, Graham and Howat.

J Bowden is unable to go onto the vets list, so we will end up with 5 newcomers via trade or the draft.

Rookies:

5 in total this year.

We will have an extra rookie due to *smile* comming off the vets list. So we will have at least 4 new rookies. I get the feeling a few Coburg players will make our rookie list. Clingan is borderline to stay or go.

1) Clingan? (who knows)
2)
3)
4)
5)

All subject to the madness that is trade week!

I don't know where you get your info, but specifically this point you are wrong. Joel meets all the requirements for the veterans list.
