In the next fortnight, the Tigers are on the road trip - A daunting task ahead, with matches against the classy Eagles and the Brisbane Lions.
Whilst it would be great to notch up victories Interstate, Richmond's poor record away from Melbourne would suggest the odds of winning two on the trott are slim.
In the worst case scenario, the Tigers could easily find themselves back in town 0 - 4 and an even bigger challenge with MCG matches against the arch enemy, Carlton & Essendon.
So how would TW and the match comittee react?
Will the timing be right to give the likes of Hughes, JON's, Meyer, Polo, Roach & Tambling a taste of the fully erected (MCG) centre stage? Does TW experiment with players in different positions?
Personally, I couldn't think of a better time to blood some new talent - Many wonderful careers have began on this famous ground and the excitement under lights might just produce a spark that could change our future. Some of the Tiger Cubs must surely be thinking, they'll be in the seniors...sooner than they think !
