Positives
* The team fought back in the last quarter when we looked dead and buried. Not what we normally see from our boys.
* The after match celebrations to me seemed like the boys crossed over a mental block. Their jubilation (not relief) was to me a sign that they now believe in themselves.
* The Ferals can't go around telling us we're crap because we haven't beaten anyone on the ladder above us.

Negatives
* 3rd Quarter slump AGAIN. It's becoming a pattern.
* We revert back to second guessing ourselves when we're under pressure. Invariably this just adds more pressure.
* Again, more than 5 mins to go and we start to chip it around instead of backing our attacking prowess that got us back into the game to start with. Who is making these Tempo Football calls out there ?

Positives

1. Wallace's game plan has finally showed itself with high scoring, fast run & carry football.
2. We won a critical game that we were favoured to win.
3. Tambling's best game for the club.

Negatives

1. Our 3rd quarters continue to be rubbish.
2. Whilst Kayne Johnson does alot of nice things, under pressure he is often awful, not good for a captain.
3. Richo, Bowden & Brown were three of our best players & they only have a couple of years left. ie We have alot of good young kids, but simply not enough potential A graders to replace these guys.

1. The fight and heart we showed when things went sour and the way we picked ourselves back up, the end of the 3rd when 31 points down and again with a few minutes left goin behind by 7 points (2 scoring shots).
2. The young and the old coming together to do the job - white, bling and foleys explosive pace with richo, bowden and browny finishing off in the fwd line.
3. What a win like that will do for the entire clubs future outlook, go tiges!!

negatives

1. Captain kane looking so slow in that high-paced last quater and that handball when he shouldve been selfish and kicked the goal himself, lucky it didnt cost us.
2. Our 3rd quater again was woeful, for what ever reason we just keep brain-fading in the 3rd
3. giving up the 2 goal lead deep into the last after we'd dominated the whole quater.

Plusses:
+ Fought back several times from behind- 4 goals in 2nd qtr, 5 goals in 3rd and 8 points with a couple of mins to go.
+ Tambling's best game for the club
+ We actually won a "crunch" game

Negatives:
- 3rd quarter
- some horrible turnovers nearly cost us the game
- needed Richo and Bowden, the two oldest players to come to the rescue in the last term (not sure if really a negative, but couldn't think of anything else)

1/ Last qtr comeback. I really thought we were gone. Rapt we showed some pride, spirit, & never give up attitude. Great Effort.
2/ Tambling. Best game for the year i reckon. This is how we want you to play Rich. Hope the penny's dropped.
3/ The Old Firm. Richo (you're a gun, simply amazing for 33), Brown (back to his best, we've been dreaming of this for 2 yrs), Bowdo (keep proving your worth despite the knockers, cool head, extremely valuable utility).

1/ 3rd qtr. Whats going on fella's. (if the 3rd qtr is the premiership qtr, we're not gonna win a flag for 50yrs).
2/ Turnovers. Simply not good enough. Lucky the Lions didn't make us pay.
3/ Shane Edwards. last 2 weeks have been very average. Competition for spots are heating up. Take your opportunity son, otherwise someone else will.

- finally beating a top 8 team.
- finally winning an important game.
- Troy Simmonds' superb display. 25 posessions, 10 marks, 23 hitouts and a goal. Forces the opposition to be accountable, and there are very few ruckman in the league who can do as much as he can around the ground.

- overuse of the footy. Nearly 100 more possesions than our opponents for a 4 point win.
- the worst third quarter I have ever seen. Have watched it twice and cannot believe how bad we were.
- playing tempo footy/icing the clock before acceptances. When will we learn?????????

not really a worry. had a down game, has been playin well for weeks, was bound to hav a quiet one. hopefully doesnt last and he still did manage to kick a goal although he barely touched it.

Regardless of whether we make the 8 this year, the positives from last nite and indeed the entire season is that in my opinon us supporters do have something to look forward to in the coming years. Having said this however we still are fragile in terms of our list and culture, and everyone needs to stick together and work damn hard to change this.

We cant take our eye of the ball, we still need to develop players and set higher standards in the future. Whilst its good that we have won 8 games and been competitive in most, we still cant match it with the top teams, which I can accept coming off a wooden spoon. At this stage its about development and there are several positives to take out of the development of several players at this stage.

- Bling
- Tackling, shepherding and general physicality was right up across the board for most of the game.
- Coming back from behind and our leaders in Bowden & Richardson kicking cluch goals when they counted.

Negatives

- Third quarter. Just took the foot right off the pedal.
- Kane Johnson should be considering retirement
- Dan Jackson is short of the quality required.
