Brendon Gale

Not in a public place.

Never had a conversation like that with anyone in a public place. It lacks empathy for the individual receiving the news.
At one stage I employed 130 staff.
Took plenty out of the work place to have hard conversations. They can then go away and digest the information/feedback without the embarrassment of having to deal with it at work with other staff around.
Think everyone is reading too much into this

Yes hence the connections in the past.

Octa Wilson must be pushing 90 these days

Lost contact some years ago but he still chain smoked and must of been pushing 80 some 10 or so years back.

Ian was a a great guy to chat with but i definitely wouldnt trust him in business or doing deals.

You can bet if it was done in the office the line on here would be "cheap bastards didn't even take him out to lunch to knife him".

Having worked in corporate for years now it's pretty standard to have hard convos over a coffee.

I reckon Gale gives the skinny to Caroline Wilson. Richmond fans will remember the awesome PR job she did on the Alex Rance to go on mission crisis. (2016?) Her work, her diplomacy was world class. Her work was clearly PR for the club.

Lots of these scenarios going on.

None of the Wilson family is from the working class, that is for sure.
Caro went to MGGS Merton Hall, the elite girls' school in Melbourne.
Makes me laugh how these poseurs trade on a working-class background.

Tassie has its sights on more than just Benny  , they are after Blair.

Richmond’s list manager, Blair Hartley, who masterminded the building of the Tigers list that won three premierships, remains No.1 on the Devils’ hit list to help build a team that will be competitive from its first season.

Ripping us apart.

Ripping us apart.

We would be totally bereft of any of the masterminds that made our club great, it is already way beyond the fresh brush stroke that we needed it's becoming a Jackson Pollock clusterfuck that is unrecognizable :(

Blair knocked back going up North.
If he knocked back the bottomless money pit called the suns then i don't see how Tassie would get him over the line either.

They’ve got Jack as well of course.

I remember watching the series on Stan about the player agents and what was clear was that the agents liked dealing with Blair Hartley, they found him very fair and balanced. Not the same with some of the others.

He would be a big loss especially on the back of Peggy, Benny, Balme, Dimma and from a player leadership perspective Cotchin and Riewoldt. We also lost our main recruiter in Clarke. Some of those are big losses but maybe not all of them.

Good organisations just move on but a major loss of organisational IP like that will have an effect for sure.

I couldn’t believe they chopped Gio last year. Strange strange move. Wonder what went on there ? He was pretty well liked and had been there for a while. Bit of an institution.

Maybe it was the fire with the towels ! :ROFLMAO:
