Jack Ross

LAYER BIO
Former club: Oakleigh Chargers
Age: 18
Height: 186cm
Weight: 85kg
Position: Midfielder

Ball-winner. Ross is a big-bodied midfielder who uses his explosiveness to evade tackles and burst through stoppages. Uses the ball by foot efficiently and his decision-making is impressive. Didn’t feature at the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships but shone for Oakleigh Chargers on numerous occasions, particularly during the final four rounds. Ross received a State Combine invitation, with his size to no doubt interest clubs seeking a readymade midfielder.

4 Jacks.

One of each suit

Reiwoldt would be hearts
Graham clubs
Higlet diamonds

So Rossy has to be spades

Seems ok but still dont understand how we managed to drop another six or seven spots on the list down to 43 instead of 37. Its bloody frustrating....

It's only because of academy and father son picks. Doesn't effect us as we didn't really have access to those players anyway. If we bid on them they would have been matched by the clubs they are tied to.

Highlights super impressive. Big bodied inside outside midfielder. What are his stats?

What does he average coz he looks a player

22 touches a game, all at TAC level. Not a bad pick-up, although we seemed pretty shocked when Bytel got snapped up. Bytel already with elite tank.

Found it interesting having a look at the highlights reel that just about every stoppage he sat on his own, not sure if it’s poor attention from the opposition, incredible smarts or simply he went the old dodgy vindaloo the night before.

Solid looking player for a pick in the 40s

They tend to give the players a fair bit of latitude so they can show their wares, same at state level.

Apparently won Oakley's B&F having only played 12 games, 1 of which he was injured in, in a side that had RCD & a heap of Players drafted from.
