Wonder if he's related to either the McIntosh of the 1992 & 94 Westcoast teams.
This kid is a 192cm skinny negating defender in the Will Thursfield mould.
Might be a good kid, but I can't fathom the logic in taking him over a genuine midfielder or mobile tall forward.
But good luck, hope he does well.

He was in the top 1% at the Draft Combine for Character!

This pick is a bit too left field for me. Interested to see what the clubs says. Is he insurance for Grimes is the only thing i can think of.

Well if he's from Peel Thunder, he has had a lot of practise defending already. Apparently good character. Im sure he's the kid helping bring up his extended family as his parents are FIFO workers.

Appears that McIntosh did play as a forward in Colts footy, though as a defender in WAFL Ressies & Seniors.

Once you expand the page, there is nothing to indicate bags of goals though.
His WAFL senior disposals and marks in defence are pretty good.
