This bloke on our VFL list seems a very exciting prospect. Good size - 1.95 and bit of an athletic freak with his testing. Once kicked 25 goals in under 19s game

Mykelti LEFAU

22-Jun-98 | 194.0cm | 94.0kg | Casey Demons
“The powerful right-footer had good judges talking him up after the early rounds of the Development League. From a rugby background, he still has much to improve upon but he’s quick, has good skills and is strong enough to shrug tackles in the manner of a horse’s tail flicking away a fly. Made three senior appearances and played in the Development League premiership. Kicked 25 goals in a game for St Kilda City Under 19s last year.” – VFL expert Paul Amy.

Sounds like a good type for a mid-season draft pick. Do we have room on the list though?

Not sure I'd describe his skills as good, but he hits like a 95kg Marlion Pickett.

"Mykelti is really close to breaking a game a part. He needs to tidy up his ball-handling and touch but he is a really exciting player in the making."

Number 72. Played really well in the game against Southport

Nice pic, looks like he isn't even going to brush off that tackle, simply run away, what a beast, find some space on the list.

He made a huge tackle against the Dogs. It was a head down, shoulder charge type tackle that Towner used to do.

It was a thing of beauty, it folded the bloke in half.

Mykelti will be a cult hero if ends up on our list, be great if we can somehow select him in the midseason draft.

I'm calling him Myki, because when that Bulldogs player got up, he was looking for the train or the bus that hit him.

I saw his name and pronounced it:
Mickelti so if he makes it and becomes a 95kg Marlion Pickett we may have to call him Mick-Belti

Sure looks like the Balta and Pickett and Martin families have got together to create a milton the monster.

Would be coming from a really long way back. He is a rookie type pick that would take 3-4 years to get going I reckon

18/1/1998, 195cm, 96kg, utility

New Zealand born with a rugby background, Lefau spent time on Casey’s VFL list before returning to local football once the pandemic hit. An impressive athlete that can play all over the ground and has reignited hunger to push himself at the higher level.
