Losing sucks. Getting destroyed is worse.
Our injury list is long.
And yet our vfl team is top of the ladder.
And right now our afl team is one win from 2nd spot.
If Geelong want to be June champions, be my guest.

With no one really expecting a win tomorrow v Adelaide, it’s nearly time to reset for a couple of weeks and assess the run home. It’s quite possible we’ll still be in the bottom of the top 8 after our bye.

Given the injury list this year that’s a decent effort.
The fact the vfl are on top is extraordinary.

Saints at marvel
Suns away
Giants MCG.
Port. MCG.
Coll. MCG. NOT SURE
Melb. MCG
Carlton MCG
WC Eagles MCG.
Lions. MCG.

Total 15 wins / 7 losses

Explanation:
We’ve lost a few at the MCG recently but not to cellar dwellers and not to out of towners.
I’ll give Collingwood the win at the G because I don’t want to say we’ll win every game from here on.

And we’ve got players returning from injury.
Saints at marvel might be a loss but only because of the venue.
Surely we beat the Suns away.

I hope you're right but I'm not sure we can be confident of winning each of the games against GWS, Port, WC and the Lions.

The first two in particular, given the timing.

But I'd be stoked to be mistaken.

the way we are going getting to 10 wins would be a great effort. i can see us doing a Port Adelaide of last year.

We should be out of the 8 at the bye.

Might be able to sneak into 6th if we are lucky

With our very poor percentage we're going to need 12 wins one would think. So 5 of the last 9. Totally possible but we need to get good players back. Can't afford anymore injuries.

12 wins and *smile* % won't cut it

There isn't one gimme in our last 9. Closest is saints after bye and Dee's who will have the skis in the rack by then.

Just putting this out there...

We may not lose another game for the year. I like the look of that draw.

We get enough players back after the bye to give us the critical mass of Richmond's premiership side. Not enough yet to be the out and out best (as we are with Rance, Jack and Nank), but enough to give us the ability to compete with the Collingwoods, West coasts and Geelongs.

Does 16 wins get us in the top 4?

And is Houli a champion in this alternate reality you inhabit?
