Yep better. Can't identify and jump to new posts though. I'm sure Mr T is working on it

Just a tip to get to new posts.
Click on the 3 horizontal lines at the right hand top corner, near the PRE icon.
A drop down index shows different headers. Click on to what you want

It is permission settings for each user group that I have to go through.

And if they are not on your right hand top corner, try your other right hand top corner. ;)

Hmm, the 3 horizontal lines are top left corner for me - is this because I'm a lefty ;)

I use Firefox if that makes a difference.

For me the biggest improvement is being able to jump straight to the first unread post in each thread, couldn't work out how to do that on the old version, although to be honest never tried all that hard.

All working nicely for me.

Need the number of posts next to the posters name
On mobile there is limited space but on desktop click on the inverted arrow under you avatar. I’ll see if I can customise what is shown.

Hey Mr T,

Any chance you could place: Home > Forums > FOOTBALL > DYER TRIBE on bottom of the page also? It saves scrolling up to the top to click on DYER TRIBE again.

Thanks Mr T. I know you're a very busy man :D .... but just one more thing, on the left side of all the posts where it shows e.g. Today at 12:48PM
scottyturnerscurse

Any chance of highlighting them yellow as above? That side just looks a bit too dark....:D

Will depend on how much we can customise but will ask the template provider.

Personally I prefer the current colour for that. The less bright yellow, the less it stands out in the office.

Sorry if it's already been mentioned, but in the old PRE, you could click on 'New' from the main forum page to take you through to the first unread post in the thread. Currently I am clicking on the last page of a thread and working back to find the last one I read.

Is there a quicker way to get to the last unread post in a particular thread?

I can just click on the thread topic to be taken to the last unread. See below. When I hover over the Sydney Stack thread title it shows it'll go to /unread
8729

But I did set the whole board as "Read" when it migrated to make sure the Unread counter reset. Without doing that every thread on the board was Unread.
